This is long overdue but.., regarding the auto response..

I will tell you all the reason why I started using an automated response..

It wasn't because I don't care to give a response to the welcome threads..

It is because I am sick and tired of repeating the same thing over and over and over and over again...

I got tired of repeating to people to read the rules.. especially since that is what they should have done before they signed up..

and more importantly, I got tired of hearing "i didn't know.." and how they expected me to let them off with a warning despite the previous ones..

I got tired of answering the same questions over and over again.. and my inbox being flooded with questions about SSA, FFSX, to personal questions like "are you really bdx's sister?" or "do you have a boyfriend"

I created the FAQ for a reason..

How many times should I have to say, "Read the rules" or "Please read the FAQ?"

I got tired of repeating myself, and so I decided to get all over and done with by using the auto response in the new member's intro thread..

That way, they know where they can find the rules, and the FAQ, and therefore have no excuse for not reading them, or any unacceptable behavior on the forum.

I just wanted to clear the air about this once and for all..

I concur completely. I was getting emailed about:
- asking how to post, (If you can't figure that out you shouldn't be on the forum in the first place.)
- people repeatedly asked me about BDX's series especially despite me telling them all I was allowed to tell.
- asking where sprites / other resources were.

also I was sick of people using the 'Report this post' feature to say "Hi" to me, (hence why this feature is now diasbled.)
also I was sick of getting confused with other people, as well as people pestering me via msn for stuff. ( Hence why I have 2 accounts now, the one you guys see is my secondary account just for dealing with forum/flash/sprite related matters. )
I've been contacted to restore accounts because people don't post then disappear, then return only to find they can access anything, they contact me, i fix their account and they go and disappear again.

Also I'm usually busy, and people heaping demands on me often doesn't help, I do what I can but in the event a real life issue comes forth, anything you want done WILL have to wait cause I won't be able to do it.

And as for the other Admins, They're busy too, BDX goes to School, he has a life. Black Angel has her own life as well. She puts up with more shit than any of you realise and she is the most forgiving of any of us, and on top of that she maintains the forum, I know you guys appreciate it, but New members/recently rejoining members:

READ THE FUCKING RULES. AND NO MORE GODDAMN EXCUSES.


( here's a general picture of my schedule just so you know what i'm up to, just so you can see I am busy )
wednesday- class, then 3 projects i need to work on
thursday- 3 classes, then a meeting with a classmate for more project work
friday- one class and Flash work day- GET YOU LINES TO ME ASAP (i need these to continue)
saturday- might take the day off and go visit a friend, if not it'll be a relaxation day anyway
sunday- return to university workload and catch up on homework
monday- class, errand day homework
tuesday- 4 classes- homework

and here is my current to do list for flash/sprite/your guys fun related works-
1- HC home movies the flash
2- sephiroth sprites
3- VirusZero sprites
4- final resting place 3
5- attention rookies 2 rpg
6- final fantasy rpg
7- and a few more secret projects i need confirmation first before i can start/finish
