Good or Bad?

Do you think there are more good or bad people in the world today?

*sigh* this topic is very complicated......
I can't give an opinion with many supporting details, and it's not even because i dont know everyone in the world (all though that is a reason, it's not THE reason) it's because not everyone who appears to be a bad person, actually is a bad person. or a good person in this case. People are begging to become better actors i've noticed.....

I feel that there are bad people, who sometimes influence the good people
It's not easy to do the right thing anymore

And sometimes there are good people who influence the bad

but the truth is, we really do need both to balance out the world, without balance there is chaos

but really, its not easy for some people to follow their concious (if you have one, because some people dont)
ooh yes, when you put it into words, its so simple:

* follow the rules
*Listen to your parents
*Have manners
*Don't break the law
*Violence is wrong
*Don't lie
*Don't steal
*Follow your religion (if u have one)
*Be kind to everyone
*Two wrongs dont make a right
*Don't be racist
*Don't generalise
*Dont stereo type (basically generalising)



god...i could go on for so long, but I'm really too lazy for that. Plus im pretty sure i'd miss many things.

I beleive it's all about WILL POWER.
Some people are Flirts, and when they get in a relationship they have to use their WILL POWER to restrain them from hitting on other people.

PEER PRESSURE is also a strong affect

at this younge age, alotta teenagers dont like to be diffrent
they want to fit in and be accepted, so they're not shunned from society.
If a bit of shop lifting can get you in the "in" crowd, then I'm sure more than a school full of lonely kids would do it. You know, if they're that desperate.

And some people are just born into it. Maybe because of a messed up family, maybe because of gangs, or maybe some people just like the rush of living on the edge. I dont know, these are my guesses though.

I beleive there are equal amounts of good people and bad people in the world, it's just harder to see the positive things when there is so much negativity around you. It's a war basically, it goes back as old as time.

Light vs Dark
Water vs. Fire
Pure Vs Evil
Good Vs. Bad

Holy hairyhare hairs, that's a long arse post. It's hard to say because peoples views of good and bad aren't always going to be the same, and I believe that there are grey areas. But as far as my vote goes, I choose bad.

i think there may be more bad than good in this world if you count the people being killed every day, sometimes for the most simplest ofthings and not for a good reason.

To me the wolrd is changing but not for the better, sure there are a lot of god things that are changing but i mean inside people; many are forgetting manners and if you try to correct them...ho boy, they'll eat you alive. I've seen people fighting all the time especially when they are driving, u tell me how many accidents are caused by cellphones?
when u are on the road count how many people are driving and talking on the phone. The point is people are losing values that were taught to you when you are little, have very limited patience and lash out at the slittest disconfort.

From my experiences, there seems to be a fragile balance of both, though lately it seems like more bad then good, considering the terrorism, the crime, etc.

There's more good than bad, just quite a few bad people in power.

Also people don't get in the news for doing good things unless it's REALLY good, but if you do one bad thing then it's bang in the news.

That said you'd have to say what good means cause imo a good person is someone who'll look out for others and themselves, and do what is right at a time they make a decision, even if it's just helping someone else with homework, that's a good deed surely?

I think if you're putting it in an extremist point of view then people who do "bad" things tend to get put in the news too easily, but good things only get put in the news if you save someones life. Good things rarely happen without an opportunity. Being at the right place at the right time and making the right decision tends to come down to chance.

Doing a bad thing you cause it, and therefore you choose to do it and it can be done more easily than a good deed.

But I believe there's more people who'd do the right thing if the were given the choice, I just think that bad people steal the headlines too easily.
Good deeds can only be done a small bit at a time, it takes effort to keep it up but i think people do .

That's true.. What you view as bad another might view as good. Right and wrong is a perspective,
