Apparently this new Sonic game, Sonic Unleashed, has been kept under wraps for quite some time. Now a whole bunch of screen-shots and promotional images have been leaked and among them is something that will make the 12 year old fan-girl mass of Sonic fans squeal with delight. There is what appears to be a were-wolf Sonic. I kid you not. Check the link for more info.

That's what I thought BDX, that's what I thought until I saw this...

Sonic Unleashed Video

If Sega screws this up, then it really is all over for Sonic. Unless Sonic Chronicles is able to save Sonic...

Edit: Seems like it's supposed to be out November, and it's multiplatform. So far the most likely systems are the Wii, and 360. No news on a PS3 release...

Edit2:
QUOTE (From some Sega Magazine)
SEGA is launching SONIC UNLEASHED with a HUGE production budget and it seems not only SONIC TEAM is involved but a very huge part of SEGA’s developer teams including those from Japan, the US and, apparently for the first time, even Europe. There seems to be one clear mission: Rebuild the Sonic brand and prove it could work in 3D environments.

Could it be? A Sonic game that will actually work?
