We all know this is definatly one of the best games that ever made it's way to English speaking people. (Americans & Europeans & maby others) But some might argue that history has overhyped it to measures it never should have acheived. Now blab away like the Game nerds we all are!

the game is not overated will i dont think so
it good game but it not the best so yeah some people do overrated it but in all it ok game for the year it come out in but if they make a remake then i can tell u if it overrated by today standers |

Its not overrrated, it was just well done and made and considered a masterpiece of its time

Yes and No.
Yes because there's just too many spin offs of it, they should focus more on FF8 or better yet, FF9 or another FF game, seriously, I liked Advent Children yes, Crisis Core I haven't played yet, Last Order (25 minute alternate version) wasn't too great, Dirge of Cerberus was just...no. No because FF7 is incredibly popular and it started the PS1+ era and has been successful for Squarenix, but I say they gotta just stop, they're gonna end up raping and killing it no doubt. FF8 or FF9 could use a few sequels. |
