What on earth happened in 2006?

I was bored so I did things that you do when your bored.

Today it seemed to be looking at what date people joined, and i started to realise a pattern.

Quite a lot of people that have been active since they joined joined in the year 2006 which leads me to the question?

What happened in 2006 that made us all join?

Some examples: Technogeek, Clockhass, Soul_Gatherer3000, blazing_heartix and me.

FFSX5 was vastly popular, I think it had just come out around then?

That was the reason I joined. It's funny. I joined and forgot about this place for a long time, but then I found it again and that's when I became more active.

This place has changed a lot since I've been here really. Sometimes I look at old post of mine too and I can see my own change within here too.

FFSX5 is what drove most of us here, I left for a month cause I was banned for a month from the computer for doing something stupid on eBay.

Then I had to leave in June for a couple months because of having to move.

I graduated from High School, Went to college, and took a break from college.
