Who's your favorite band?, music artists, and opinions of them

I like too many bands. =/
I can't really favorite music, it's like choosing a favorite child. It's just not fair to ask that question.

However, among my top artist are: The Mars Volta, Pendulum, I Am Ghost, Yesterday's Rising.. and you know what? Even my top artists is a long list so I'll stop there.

I'd really recommend looking up any of those bands if you haven't heard of any of them. Thomas Pridgen of the Mars Volta is like a prodigy of the drums. That whole band is really kind of revolutionary.

My favorite bands are as followed.

Green Day, Linkin Park, Nickelback, Hinder, The Offspring, Creed, Skillet, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Evanescence and Lacuna Coil.

I generally listen to Metal more these days though cause alot of mainstream music is just.......well, sex based.

I listen to Linkin Park alot also DM. My favorites are The Temptations, The O'Jays, and yeahm Linkin Park.

I'm curious, what do you guys think of A Perfect Circle. the only song I know by them is Passive and that's a pretty good song

Well, I haven't heard of them or that song. Sorry to say.

A Perfect Circle? Oh. Jeez. I have to refresh my memory on their music. I haven't listened to them in a really long time. I'm so all over the music world that sometimes I listen to a band and don't get back to them for a long while..

Ok.. I just looked at them. That's what I thought. Their singer is Tool's singer. Yeah, they're one of those good bands too, though I do prefer Tool over them. Both are good bands though.

And DM, some Metal is actually considered mainstream. Avenged Sevenfold, who was relatively unknown before their third album, can now be successfully considered mainstream. They're metal.

I like Linkin Park's older tunes better as well. They're new stuff seemed kind of just out there. What I've Done was way too overplayed when it came out and overrated as a song in general. I remember there is one song off that album that sounds like a cheap rendition of one of Muse's songs. I'm looking for the song, but I'm having trouble.

But we all have personal preferences and this is YOUR favorite bands, not "One person's favorite bands is the right choice"

I just found this other awesome band yesterday. Apocalyptica. They play Neoclassical and they're definitely worth checking out since they've had a wide assortment of artist help them with their music.

totally agree with Clockhass, Apocolyptica is awesome. And I like the song I Dont Care which stars Adam Gontier of Three Days Grace, it's cool.
