New Skin..

This one is called "Aurum." Weird name eh? In case you don't know, Aurum is latin for gold.. I named it that because I thought that the banner had a golden look to it, and the bg reminded me of melted gold.. (albeit somewhat darker) BDX asked me to make a skin with the colors of the banner he and bg made.. I think he knew that the color I hated more than red was yellow.. and when I did see it, I did tease him a bit about how it looked like he had Sonic sitting in butter.. anyhow, I am actually surprised at how well it turned out.. and I hope you guys like it..

P.S. I know the icons don't match, I think BDX is working on them..

I'm sorry, Insulting is not my tone here. When I got here, I thought someone took a leak on my screen. Perhaps it is me who will have to get used to this cuz when I look at the gold I have, it's only a little diffrent. I thought this place could use a little more of an orange hue and a darker tint though...(But then it wouldn't be S Sonic's color.) I'd suggest an alternate form where black is just as dominate, if not more, than yellow...

In all, I don't really like it. But then, I'm only a sub-member, who needs my thoughts...?

Wooh. My eyes needed to adjust to the screen properly. After seeing the red background for so long, my eyes kinda got used to it. The skin is very good if you ask me. I really like what has been done.

Just tryin somethin out. This place never had a yellow skin, so i figured, why not, I made the banner and the BG, she did the skin. However i will say that the background for the posts are not what i expected, but it is still great anyways. I decided to start up makin stuff again, as far as others.

Also magnum, not everyone will like the skin. I dont expect everyone to enjoy it, and an opinion is an opinion. You wont get penalized for such =)

It's fine.. I'm a big girl.. I can take it.. but yeah, it will take some getting used to, as is any other skin that we've had thus far.. I still consider it gold though since it does have the same base hue, but simply darker.

If I were to use the actual color of gold, then I just might have to shoot myself.. and while, I am not particularly fond of any kind of yellow, I am glad that the skin turned out as well as it did.

And yeah, I was going to make an alternate version of this skin



which uses the colors in my sig, but then I thought, "where's the challenge in that?" It just goes to show that no matter what it is, bdx will always give me a challenge.. usually when I least expect it.

Hell blaze....yellow....How do I go about functioning those into a sentence...? I'll find a way. This is all fine and dandy, says the acceptance stage. At least I'm growing to it already.
